Gate Duty [Mission Thread]

It was night. The sky was dark, and even the very stars had problems penetrating the vast black teint of Konoha. No lanterns nor any other source of light appeared to shine in the large village. Konoha was asleep, and shrouded in darkness. Or, so it seemed, because on the mighty villages large gate sat one sole individual. An individual wearing a black, red clouded robe and a large straw hat. This man, obviously an Akatsuki, had been sitting there for quite some time. Minutes, hours, ever since the sun got down this lonely shinobi sat there, watching the forests every move. He knew there was a criminal out there, and if that little scumbag made his move, Wokku was ready to counter. If that chubby murderer showed his fat face at Konohas gate (a location which he appeared to prefer), Wokku would make sure he would not live through the night.

*a huge lumbering figure appears in the distance with a mace in its hand*

Wokku looked up as a large figure wearing what appeared to be a large, blunt weapon appeared in the distance. A smile appeared on his face as he jumped off the gate and, over the grassy and dirty path, started to slowly make his way towards the new individual. Though not yet showing any form of hostality, Wokku kept himself and his weapons ready to strike anytime. Especialy when his feet came to a halt in the grass a short distance away from the large newcomer, he and his weapons were as alert as a shinobi of his level could be. "Identification", the swordman Akatsuki more demanded then asked the large guy in front of him as his green eyes pierced through the darkness and observed the man and his weapon. If the guy was indeed the criminal he was looking for, and that mace was indeed his main weapon, Wokku would have a neat advantage in this fight.

"i am.....a visitor to the hokage...." *the male tries to sidestep past the akatsuki member*

One flick of Wokkus finger was enough to trigger his blades. One of the blades on his back soared out of its container and, in a blink of the eye, blocked the large mans path. "I said identification...you know what that is dont you?", the Akatsuki muttered to the man on a rather agitated tone. He was already fed up with this mission and the guy in front of him. He wanted to go home and sleep, it was bloody 2 AM. The last thing he could use right now was some kind of fat guy causing trouble. Wokkus strict green eyes moved to the mans face. He sure did look like the man he was hunting, yet it was to dark to be totaly sure of that. Also, the man has not yet shown hostality, which would be awfully odd when dealing with the actual wild criminal he was hunting. Wokku was not yet sure if this was THE guy, but he was likely to find out soon enough.

"i give my name to no-one now move" *the figure shoved wokku roughly aside and began striding toward the village*

Wokku swiflty made another set of gestures, and inmediatly a large group of blades was sent out of their containers on the Akatsukis back and was sent into the large mans direction. In a matter of seconds the blades had, like a swarm of bees, surrounded the man and pointed their stingers at their poor victim. Now the blades had the man trapped, Wokku turned around and kept his strict green eyes on the opponents rather large body, now trying not to lose track of the guy and make sure he did not escape. "My patience is running low", the blademaster mentioned with clear agitation and agression in his voice as he took a step in the large mans direction. As his 2 feet were placed next to eachother on the dirt path, Wokku took on a more relaxed then stable pose. He held up both his hands, ready to manipulate his blades when needed. The usual killing-grin his face would show in combat did not show up. In fact, his face looked more pissed off then ever. "Name, occupation, homecountry, reason for visiting the Hokage AT 2 FREAKING A.M AT NIGHT!", he now yelled, agression and anger more then obvious controlling his voice. He was losing his temper now. One more resistance from the large guy and Wokku was simply finishing him off, criminal or not!

Technique used:
Name: Katana Kessei: Shouten no Mayu (Blade Formation: Cocoon of death)

Description: A difficult formation to actually get done, but very lethal once preformed. It requires blades to be located at every side around the victim, with just not enough space to let through a human. Then they all move towards the middle, piercing the opponent without giving him any space to escape.

"you're getting on my nerves, kid," *he aims a punch at wokku*

At the moment Wokku looked into the eyes of his attacker, his genjutsu was placed all over him. When the large mans fist made contact the the Akatsuki blademasters bare skin, his body simply fell apart into a set of blades and joined the others in surrounding the attacker. In a matter of seconds the illusionary blades, alongside the real ones, had formed a formation around the criminal and started to close in to the guy. "Its over now", Wokkus voice said from the nothingness in the dark sky as his blades soared towards the large man. As the genjutsus blades were solid, there still was nowhere to go for the man. When the blades hit him and pain released the illusion, the injuries from the real blades between the fake ones would be enough to kill him.

Techniques used:
Name: Tenshinchigi no Genkaku (Gods of Heaven and Earth Illusion)
Rank: A
Description: Can be cast upon the victim when he looks into the users eyes. When the technique is active, the user can dissolve into blades anytime he pleases. These blades function just like the ones in the Chikatana Illusion and can be controlled by the user at will. They can descend anywhere he pleases and reform into the user. While this genjutsu is active, the user is practicly invunerable.

*the man falls to the ground and his body ceases to move*

A hit! At the moment the blades were lunged into the mans large and musculair body, the genjutsu was dispelled and his body fell on the ground. There it lay, motionless on the dirty road as Wokkus real body returned from the genjutsu. Flexing his arms a little bit and letting out a tired sigh the Akatsuki Blademaster walked up to the, appearantly, dead body of the man he just fought. As he crept closer to the motionless figure, he tried to remember the face of the criminal he was looking for. When he reached the body he kneeled down on the dirt and grass road as he made a wide gesture, causing all real blades sticking into the mans body, as the illusionary blades had dissapeared, to pull themselves out of its flesh and float next to their master. On a close but safe distance the Akatsuki squeezed his eyelids togather in a desperate attempt to make out wether this man was or wasent the criminal he was looking for. It was. And as soon as Wokku confirmed the criminals identity, he reached for the mans neck to feel wether he had or lacked a hearthbeat.

*The ninja's pulse was faint but after a few seconds it faded away to nothing*

Wokku nodded once again as he confirmed the criminals state of death. With a power suprising for a man as slim as him, the Akatsuki pushed his hand underneath the large, heavy body and lifted it over his shoulder. He once again sighted, and slowly started walking back to the village. He once again yawned and tightened his grip of the fat corpse. He was fortunate to fight such a petty criminal, as he could as well been forced to fight a S-rank criminal, something what would have gone a lot less smooth at this hour. With his one free hand Wokku scratched his back, after which he made a couple of quick gestures. The blades, untill recently only floating around him, swiftly and smoothly shove theirselves back into the containers on their masters back. This battle was finaly over. Time to dispose of that corpse, and time to go to bed.
