Shikisha's Favorite Spot {Closed to all but Mizuki}

In agreement, he nodded. Pouring a little more sake, he raised his glass. "To a wonderful night."

mizuki filled her glass and raised it with shiki's "to a wonderful night, indeed," she drank what was left of her sake and sighed contentedly

Chuckling, he set down his cup and pulled a wallet from his jacket. Placing a substantial amount of money from it, he put half down and replaced the other half. "That should cover it. If it doesn't, I'll fight my way home." He said jokingly.

she laughes "it'll be fine, remember who you're dining with," stands up and pushes her chair underneath the table

Mimicking her action, he pushed the curtains aside. Wrapping one arm around her waist, he began walking out of the restaurant.

a few murmurs were heard as they walked past in this manner, things like 'thats lady hokage!' or 'is that the raikage she's with?' or even 'i never expected two kage's to get along so famously'. Mizuki ignored the comments as she walked back outside with shikisha

Smiling, her guided her out of the restaurant and looked around outside. "I suppose I would need to know where you live to walk you home." He commented, raising an eyebrow to show that this statement was intended as a question.

"its not far from here, just down this road and turn left and you're pretty much there,"

Shikisha kept her held close, beginning down the path toward where she claimed her house was.

she walked with him, the moonlight shining on her as she walked. She looked up at the moon and smiled, the full moon being one of her favourite things

Following the path, and taking the correct turn, he spotted her house within a few minutes. Stopping in front of the door, he released her and turned to face her. "Well that was a lovely night, now wasn't it?"

she nods "one of the best free nights i've had in a very long time," she smiles "i'm glad you think so as well,"

Having nothing to reply, he stood there awkwardly. "So....uh.....good night.." He said, trying to think of something a little better to say, but failing completely.

she smirked "i dont think i've EVER seen you this flustered before....maybe i should just go....?" she tilted her head and raised her eyebrows

"Hm. Well, I really don't seem to be able to think of something to say." He said. He bent down to attempt to kiss her one last time before they departed.

she stepped forward and kissed him, the faintest of blushes creeping across her cheeks. She pushed something into his hand while she did so, an old silver necklace.

"Whats this?" He asked, holding the silver necklace up into the moonlight.

"its a necklace thats been passed down through my clan, it strengthens the wearers soul. I thought you should have it, as protection against enemies...." sighs "and as a reminder of me, should i fall in battle," smiles sadly, as if she knew something he didnt, and walked to her door and unlocked it

Stopping her with a hand on her shoulder, he spun her around. "I can't take this hun." He said softly, holding out the necklace.

she pushed it back to him "yes...you can," she looked him straight in the eye "you can and you will..." she turned away, swallowing back tears

With that, Shikisha sparkled away. He reappeared on her roof, out of site. Sitting upon it, he took a deep breath, and looked at the necklace.

thinking he was gone, she leaned against her door and sighed deeply. She let a few rare tears escape from the corner of her eye as she looked up at the full moon

He lay down on the roof, dosing off under the moonlit sky. Passed out cold, he rolled a bit, almost falling off, and lay with the necklace clutched to his chest.

she finally steadied herself, took a deep breath and opened the door. She went inside and locked it "i'm sorry shiki....but i might just HAVE to fall in this battle..." sighs and goes up to her room
