Visiting the Others

Mizuki sat at the clans altar, clasping her hands in prayer with her eyes shut tight.
please give the village the strength to fight...and give me the strength to keep going...
She felt her eyes clouding with tears as she opened them again. She looked up at the statue at her mother and smiled sadly.

hidan sees mizuki and walks to here "m-m-m-mizuki" he stutters "i have something to say to you" he stared in her eyes "before we go any further i will tell you who killed towa"

She looked at him curiously, removing her elbows from the top of the altar.
"Alright, Hidan, i'm here to listen,"
She smiled as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"It was me"hidan said looking at the ground

She sighed.
"Hidan, i knew that...You didnt have to tell me. When you've seen more dead spirits and murderers in 20 years than most people see in a lifetime, you know these things,"

"How did you know" hidan said

She sighed again, this time more patiently.
"Well, if you were innocent you wouldn't have come back to the Leaf to change your ways. I knew there was something wrong as soon as you walked into my office. Plus, i hadn't seen towa in weeks so i pieced it together,"

"Very wise so then you must no only an immortal can kill and immortal"hidan sat down "mizu you know i can lift souls from the grave right" he said showing her his bottle of souls

She flinched as she recognised one of the souls in the jar and turned her head away.

"what is it" hidan said looking at the soul jar "tell me what you see"

She squeezed her eyes shut, shaking her head slowly.
"I cant look at it again, it hurts too much. I'm sorry Hidan, i cant,"

"mizu please tell me i can put the soul you see in her in paradise if you just tell me i don't want to see you like this again"hidan put his hand on mizuki's shoulder

She opened one eye and looked at the jar.
"T-Theres a soul in there, a female, thats slightly younger than i am...Thats my little sister..."

Hidans Eyes widened he looked at the jar and said something in japanese mizuki's sistercame out the jar and was dancing around mizuki into paradise

She sighed in relief and leaned her forehead against the altar, her body slowly relaxing as her sister left for paradise. She murmered something that sounded like a prayer and smiled as a tear trickled down her cheek.

"Mizuki i am sorry i had your sister in my jar my sorrow will never forgive myself for that" hidan looked down crying alitte but "i am just i low excuse for a fucking jack ass bastard"

She held up her hand to silence him.
"Its what you do, Hidan. I don't blame you for it..."
She opened her eyes, staring down at an engraving left by her mother.
it read:

hidan looked at mizu tears in his eyes he leaned in on her and kissed her

Her eyes widened in shock but she eventually gave in, closing her eyes and kissing him back.

Hidan released and apologized "sorry i-i-i......."

She shook her head.
"Don't apologise, Hidan. You don't have to,"
She smiled gently.

After hidan heard that he kissed her again this time quickly and hugged her as he stood up

She gently traced over the engraving with her fingertips before standing up also, leaving a single white rose for her mother.

As they were walking hidan held mizuki's hand

She didnt object and smiled again to herself as they reached the border of the clan grounds.
